DOG EAT DOG (USA)

CrossoverHip HopPunkRock

Crossover pioneers Dog Eat Dog was founded in 1990 and were among the first to combine hard rock with hip-hop. In 1993, they released mini-LP Warrant, and in 1994 their first prominent and successful album “All Boro Kings” immediately bombed the world music scene. Hard guitars combined with hip-hop rhythms, rap, sound, and the saxophone made a splash. Then, in 1996, the album “Play Games” was released. It was produced by star producers such as the Butcher Brothers (Cypress Hill, The Fugees).

In the Czech Republic, the band is, so to speak, at home, with an extensive fan base and friends, even

within the band’s line-up. It’s no secret that in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe, Czech musicians play saxophone parts with them, you might know from bands like Jet8, The Chancers, or Discoballs. That’s one of many reasons why Dog Eat Dog is always happy to come back to us.
