The Undertones

On 30.11. in Prague Futur will perform British legend The Undertones, in the Czech Republic for the first time ever! The band was formed in 1974, and with the advent of punk, they joined the ranks of bands such as the Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols or The Adverts, and began to win over fans in the UK with their catchy and snappy hits. However, it would be very foolish to pigeonhole this band in any way, whether it be stylistically as punk, power pop or glam rock. It’s simply rock’n’roll, and hits like ‘Teenage Kicks’, ‘Jimmy Jimmy’, ‘Get Over You’, ‘Here Comes The Summer’, ‘True Confessions’, ‘More Songs About Chocolate And Girls’ and ‘Thrill Me’ prove just how strong a sense of songwriting the band has always had. And they’ll prove that they’re still going strong on stage this autumn to the Czech fans!
