On March 28, 2025, Prague’s Futurum Music Bar will go down in ashes! The Swedish pack Wolfbrigade will present their new album Life Knife Death here. Their devotion to brutal fury hasn’t let off the gas this time either. Inspirations from Discharge, Entombed, Motorhead were even added to the new album by The Beatles, in a slightly more twisted form in the song A Day In The Life Of An Arse. “I just thought of the song title, which is brilliant in itself, and ‘Of An Arse’ popped into my head. The Beatles have run through our mill called Wolfbrigade, which here captures the horror of waking up to another day and playing your part in humanity’s endless shit.”
The Prague and Ostrava shows are relatively rare, as the band decided to stop touring classically a few years ago. “We want to feel 100% present on stage, to succumb to the energy and ecstasy. That level of commitment is basically impossible to maintain after a week on tour. Especially the older we get. We never want to feel that routine and numbness anymore. Music is a passion for us and it can never feel like work. This music hurts when we play it more and more with each passing year. But it’s a delicious pain.”
The first confirmed guests of the night will be the homegrown brothers in t-shirts – the one and only and universally loved Malignant Tumour.
