England has constantly been churning out many great bands, which goes double for punk rock, hardcore, and, in Polar’s case, metalcore. Especially lately, the islands have a lot to offer in that department. But as the guys note about themselves, forget what you’ve ever heard of them. The new album “Shadowed by Vultures” is a true masterpiece, and with it comes Polar version 2.0. Polar started in 2009 and forever carved themselves into the chronicle of hardcore music with their debut EP “This Polar Noise” in 2011. Their latest release, “Everywhere, Everything, ” was released this year. Polar is rocking and roaring, and their riffs will bring you to your knees with their precision. Their music is hard yet balanced with melody and noticeable influences of alternative music and other flavors of hardcore punk.
