After several years of hiatus, the spring edition of the Mighty Sounds festival returns. This time it will be a special event with limited capacity!
On Saturday, April 12, 2025, Prague’s Futur will host the first performance of a new and very rare project of the singer Booze & Glory, who has brought to life his old dream – to play early reggae. The repertoire of the formation called The Gamblers is based mainly on Booze & Glory’s hits, but also on old Jamaican classics in a great dirty reggae rendition.
Other participants of this special party will be the Swiss Open Season, who proved this year at Mighty Sounds that they belong to the top of the European ska-reggae scene and can sensitively combine modern sound with original rocksteady, ska but also elements of dancehall and rap.
The latest confirmed gem so far is the homegrown All Mad Here, who released an EP this summer called “Through the Looking-Glass,” making it clear that they belong in London or Kingston much more than Prague.
