Babylon Circus
Lyon is a beautiful and vibrant city and that’s where this nine-member band comes from. They set the wheels of their circus in motion back in 1995 and have been touring clubs and festivals all over Europe with their variety show ever since. At one time Babylon Circus had quite a strong fan base in our country, but then they went on hiatus in our home country – so we’re glad to see them back after all these years, and here at the Mighty Sounds festival. It’s not for nothing that this band has the word circus in their name, as they can rock the stage like a true acrobat. Look forward to a mix of French chansons, reggae and ska and a good dose of Balkan.
Heľenine oči
If anyone’s really into it in the neighborhood, it’s this seven-man crew. No wonder we invited them to our festival. The guys fight tooth and nail against genre pigeonholes, but anyone who doesn’t listen a bit is immediately clear. They will hear rock, ska, reggae, folk, Balkan, but also metal. But maybe that’s not really as important as the fact that Helene’s eyes are on full throttle and festival stages suit them like few others. Apart from the indispensable music, they really know how to handle an audience, so you can look forward to a proper interactive show.
Dukla Vozovna
After several years, the now legendary Pardubice punk band Dukla Vozovna, which started its musical career in 2001, will visit Tábor again. The music of Dukla Vozovna is energetic and positive, which is greatly helped by two accordions and strongly melodic melodies. Dukla will kick it all off on the festival’s main stage on Friday afternoon!
