The Toy Dolls (UK)
English punk legend Toy Dolls formed in 1979. Toy Dolls’ music and lyrics are built on a punk aesthetic, but the main component of their music is humor and all sorts of lyrical shifts that make Toy Dolls one of the genre’s most original bands. They have a whopping sixteen studio albums to their credit. In 2023 they released a live album from the French Hellfest festival. This will be the first time this band has performed at Mighty Sounds, so we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of show they put on.
Acidez(MEX)
A bunch of seasoned rebels rolling straightforward hardcore punk in the vein of their colleagues The Casualties or Total Chaos return to Mighty Sounds. Hailing from the city of Guadalajara, where they formed in 2003, Acidez are far from being an unknown act these days. One of the hardest working bands in Mexico’s punk underbelly, they have given their all to music and have been reaping the sweet fruits of their labor for a few years now. Their last album so far was released in 2022.
Nežfaleš (CZ)
The Prague punk rock band has been taking over club and festival stages for 22 years. During that time, they have recorded several albums, singles and music videos. As always, the band’s performance at Mighty Sounds promises a cocktail of their proven hits with new songs from their latest recordings. Years later, the band is still defined by a phrase from one of their lyrics – “every club and bar, every weekend was worth it”!
