Inner Circle na Mighty Sounds vol. 14!
Na Mighty Sounds se vrací skvělí a jedineční Inner Circle! Jejich evergreeny si může zazpívat úplně každý, i když si třeba předtím, než přijde před pódium, myslí, že o kapele nikdy neslyšel. Sweat (A La La La La Long), Bad Boys z filmu Mizerové, Rock With You nebo Games People play je jen výčet z mnoha hitů, které totiž zná úplně každý. Inner Circle vyrážejí s novou deskou na turné k ohromujícím 50ti letům na scéně a vy budete u toho!
Debutové album vydali v roce 1974 na Trojan Records. V roce 1976 kapela podepsala smlouvu s labelem Capitol/EMI Records, na kterém vydali desky Reggae Thing a Ready For The World. Později, v roce 1979, Inner Circle podepsali smlouvu s Island Records a vydali velmi úspěšné album Everything Is Great. Dva singly z alba se dostaly do Top 50 ve Velké Británii. Hned v roce 1980 ale přišla tvrdá rána osudu, když při autohavárii zemřel frontman Jacob Miller.
O dva roky později kapela nachází náhradu a vydává desku Something So Good, v roce 1986 pak Black Roses. Nejzásadnější okamžik ale přišel se singly Bad Boys a Sweat (A La La La La Long), z nichž první dosáhl až na třetí příčku v britském žebříčku Single Charts.
Inner Circle jsou naprosto perfektní kapelou, která skvěle funguje obzvláště naživo a my máme opravdu velkou radost, že se nám je po několika letech povedlo získat zpět!

The Jamaican-bred Inner Circle is one of the world’s most respected reggae groups in the world, with a long string of successes stretching back to the mid-70′s. Inner Circle is perhaps most known for the success of “Bad Boys,” the title track from the album of the same name, and the theme song to the television show, Cops. “Bad Boys” became a number one hit in almost every European territory and sold seven million copies worldwide. After winning a 1993 Grammy for Best Reggae Album with “Bad Boys,” the band scored again with the 1994 hit album “Reggae Dancer.”
After over three decades, Inner Circle remains one of reggae’s most successful crossover groups. We are happy to have them for Mighty Sounds 2018!
